Rental of Facilities Information
Thank you for considering Murray-Troutt Post 262 for your next event! We have the perfect space for your next event, whether it is a party or a recurring group meeting. We can accomodate groups of many sizes from 2-100 people.
All proceeds go towards veterans programs, homeless veterans services, town sports teams, school scholarships, and sponsorships to students and college events.

Hall Rental Facilities
- 12-foot rectangular tables (quantity 12)
- 10-foot circular table (quantity 1)
- folding chairs (quantity 70-80)
- restrooms (quantity 2)

- oven (warming only, no cooking)

- outdoor picnic area
- little league field (if not already scheduled)
Hall Rental Fees
One-Time Events (i.e. parties, graduations, weddings, etc.)
- $100 reimbursible deposit to hold the date, which can be refunded dependent upon inpsection after the event
- $350 for the whole calendar day (12:01am to 11:59pm)
Recurring Events (i.e. group meetings)
- $45 per occurence or $500/year for monthly renters
Hall Rental Rules
- Use of hall is only for contracted day of party
- Set-up and breakdown cannot happen any time before or after contractual agreement date (per insurance plan)
- Oven is to heat food only, renters cannot cook on the stove (per insurance plan)
- Quiet time starts at 11:00pm (please be considerate of our neighbors)
- Renters must set-up the hall and clean the hall as they found it
- Tables wiped down
- Tables and chairs put away in racks, as found
- Floors swept
- Trash taken out to bins behind hall
- Wipe down counters
- Take out bathroom trash
- Refund of the $100 deposit is subject to inspection of hall after the rental by Post 262 officers
